Hi everyone! Its been a while since I’ve blogged anything other than an updated wedding or session gallery. No advice lately, no personal stuff.

Some of you know I have been going through a major rebrand. Thats taken up some time. I’m traveling. And, I am a full time momma, I have a partner, and I give my clients as much attention as I possibly can.

So I am back to say hi. To recenter, to check in. To give you some deets and get a teeny bit personal. To put my face on the internet and practice some good old fashioned vulnerability.

I am going full force with weddings and I love it. Being a wedding photographer is this magical combination of strength and gentleness, and I love finding the balance in directing a group as well as finessing a portrait. It feeds me creatively. It is an honor. But, I have slowly started expending. I am doing a lot more corporate work and events than I thought I would be when I first started this journey, but you know what? It makes me feel like a boss when I get a cool gig like that, and I love that this wonderful crazy job and life gives me the flexibility to dip my toes into new avenues.

Oh, and if my crazy juggling work and personal life wasn’t enough, I bought a photobooth and have been slowly marketing for that as well, building a site, client base, facebook page, instagram, you name it. You know. Because I didn’t have enough going on!

I’ve been setting goals. A lot of them. What I want for my personal life. My business. My clients. My sons. My goal as a photographer is to capture my subjects just being. Families, couples…portraits. To be present. Yo be there for all the moments. The quiet ones, the loud ones, the in between ones, the happy ones and the sweet ones. Every single thing that makes you you, that's what I want to see. I want my clients to feel like my sessions are fun and effortless.

I want to travel more and take my kiddos to Disney World and Zion National Park. I want my boys to see their mom grow into an incredible, powerhouse entrepreneur with a passion for her job, and multiple businesses. I want to feel fit and healthy (I started swim lessons last week…gulp. We will see how that goes.) I Want my clients to feel heard and safe when they hire me. I want to reach people in surrounding states and cities that want to trust me with their wedding photos, because they trust my reputation and my client experience. I want to stay grateful and hungry for the life I have created and am creating. I want to keep the joy and fulfillment that has come with finding myself.

What are your goals? I would love to hear them!

Till next time, friends.

I want to give photo credit to my awesome partner Chris, and my sweet client Allie for the photos in this post.
