Cheers to anyone who wants to meet before sunrise, just to chase that dewy morning light and a beautiful location. These two were troopers, you guys. Mia and Steve woke up before the sun Saturday morning to travel a little over an hour away to find the right waterfall (After a quick, much needed stop for a few caffeinated drinks, obviously!). I love when I have the opportunity to photograph a couple with a true sense of adventure. By the time we arrived, the sun was just starting to peek through the trees and spilling its buttery warmth over the cool greens of the forest.
That dress. That moss. That green. All the yes. Can't you just smell the leaves?
This New England couple was right at home outdoor and in the chill of the morning. I watched Steve take Mia's hand and calmly lead her to a spot next to the trickling waterfall (she was barefoot for the majority of these, per her request).
We all left that morning with smiles on our faces. I love the opportunity so showcase their sense of adventure, their love, and their wonder. Side note: how dreamy is this place going to be in the fall? Must return soon.
I am always looking for beautiful places to showcase. What are your favorite locations in the Midwest?
